Well the 24 day cutting marathon, also known as the NCHA Super Stakes, is more than half way complete. It’s been a whirlwind of activity, including catching up with friends, cheering on family in the show pen, and a bit of shopping and eating! Okay, I’ll admit, I’ve done A LOT of eating……I’m determined to try every new place in Fort Worth, and with that I should probably include the new spin studio “Off the Saddle Spin” while I’m at it! I have some major calories to burn. Stay tuned for that review…..I’m afraid the name says it all!!!! EEEEK!

There is a bit of a “BABY BOOM” going around the show, and I had the pleasure of attending Katie Rice’s baby shower held at the beautiful Cowgirl Hall of Fame. The joyous event was hosted by Megan Miller, Ashley Snider, Caitlin Enright, Savanah Allen, and Cheyenne Porterfield. I can’t wait to meet “Baby Rice”!! My bet…..Its a girl! Watch out Tarin!!!
Be sure and catch my super talented sister-in-law Katy Keenie performing tonight at the Annual Crawfish Boil sponsored by High Brow CD. It’s free for everyone to attend and believe me…..There will be PLENTY of crawfish to go around, not to mention GREAT MUSIC! Check out a few pics from last year…..
If you get a chance, The Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival runs through this weekend! It’s one of my favorite events! Tons of art, food, and music!! Just a little FYI……Fort Worth was voted America’s Best Downtown!!!
There is plenty of Super Stakes left and I’m always excited to watch the 4 Year Old division! Good luck to everyone and take a little time to enjoy FORT WORTH!!!
